Hi ya all out there in the growing sketchnoting community!
I’m Linda, a sketchnoter from Finland and I’ve been doing digital sketchnoting with my iPad since 2010. It’s the usual story: I bought myself the 1st gen iPad, sat in a lot of meetings, got bored and started doodling. That was back then.
It’s sketchnoting day!
But today’s our day, it’s World Sketchnoting Day! I wanted to take part in the WorkVisualApp challenge by doing a sketchnote on digital sketchnoting because hey! – it’s my thing. As said, I started out with the iPad back then when they came into the market. I haven’t been doing graphic recording with pens at all if you don’t take my years as a teacher into account. Then of course I used both the blackboard and the whiteboard all the time.
In the early years there were other graphic recorders telling me that they couldn’t use an iPad for visual thinking; that it just isn’t the same. But times are changing. Now they have purchased their iPads, too. So I’d like to think of myself as some kind of an early settler in the landscape of digital sketchnoting.
So here it is, my version of digital sketchnoting:
And since it’s World Sketchnoting Day, I throw in a video, too. In this video I tell you some general tips – with the help of this sketchnote. Hope you like it..!
